Author Guidelines

During this step, you are required to provide detailed information about all contributors involved in the creation of this book, including yourself as the primary author, any co-authors, and other contributors (e.g., editors, illustrators, translators). Please ensure that the information is accurate and complete, as it will be used for publication purposes and proper acknowledgment.

1. Required Information for Each Contributor

For each contributor, please provide the following details:

  • Full Name: Include the contributor’s full name as it should appear in the publication.
  • Role: Specify the contributor’s role in the project, such as:
    • Author
    • Co-author
    • Editor
    • Translator
    • Illustrator
    • Contributor (e.g., provided data or insights)
  • Affiliation: Provide the contributor’s institutional or professional affiliation, if applicable. Include the department, institution, and country.
  • Email Address: Provide a valid email address for each contributor. This information will not be shared publicly without consent.
  • Biography: A brief biography (50–150 words) summarizing the contributor’s academic background, professional achievements, or expertise relevant to the book.

2. Additional Guidelines for Authors and Co-authors

  • List all authors in the correct order of contribution.
  • Ensure that all co-authors have reviewed and agreed to their inclusion in the book.
  • If applicable, clarify the specific chapters or sections contributed by each author.

3. Acknowledgment of Other Contributors

  • Recognize individuals who contributed significantly but do not qualify as authors (e.g., research assistants, data analysts, or peer reviewers).
  • Include them in the acknowledgment section if their role is supplementary.

4. Conflict of Interest

Disclose any financial or personal relationships that may pose a conflict of interest for any contributors.

5. Editing and Publication

The information you provide here will be used for:

  • Acknowledgment in the front matter of the book.
  • Metadata for indexing and cataloging.
  • Communication regarding the publication process.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Authors must ensure that their submission complies with the following requirements. Submissions that do not meet these guidelines may be returned for revision before being reviewed.


1. Manuscript Requirements

Originality: The submission is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

File Format: The manuscript is submitted in an editable format such as Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX (.tex).

Language and Clarity: The manuscript is written in clear, concise English, and has been professionally edited if necessary.

Structure: The manuscript follows the standard academic book structure, including:

  • Front Matter: Title page, copyright page, dedication (optional), foreword, preface, acknowledgments, and table of contents.
  • Main Body:
    • Introduction: Overview of the book, research objectives, and structure.
    • Chapters: Organized by topic, with clear titles and logical progression.
    • Case Studies (if applicable): In-depth examples to illustrate key points.
  • Back Matter: Conclusion or summary, appendices (if applicable), references/bibliography, index, and author biography.

Length: The manuscript adheres to the publisher's recommended word count (typically 50,000–120,000 words).

Figures and Tables: All figures, tables, and other illustrations are included in the manuscript and properly labeled with captions and source credits.


2. Formatting Requirements

Citation Style: All citations and references follow the APA (7th Edition) or another specified style guide.

Font and Layout:

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides

Headings: Use a consistent heading hierarchy for chapters, sections, and subsections.

Permissions: Necessary permissions have been obtained for all third-party content (e.g., images, tables, or quotes).


3. Metadata Requirements

Title and Abstract: Provide a concise and informative title and an abstract (200–300 words).

Keywords: Include 5–8 relevant keywords that accurately reflect the content of the book.

Author Information: Ensure that all author details (full name, institutional affiliation, email address) are included and accurate.


4. Submission Ethics

Conflict of Interest: Authors have disclosed any potential conflicts of interest.

Copyright Agreement: Authors agree to grant the publisher the rights to publish and distribute the book while retaining copyright ownership.

Plagiarism Check: The submission has been reviewed for originality using plagiarism detection tools.


5. Additional Requirements

Supporting Documents: All necessary supporting materials, such as appendices or supplementary data, are included with the submission.

Cover Letter: A brief cover letter describing the book’s focus, intended audience, and its contribution to the field is submitted (if required).

Acknowledgment: Any funding sources, collaborations, or other acknowledgments are clearly stated in the manuscript.
