Position Overview
As an editor for our academic books, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the editorial process, ensuring the quality and integrity of the manuscripts we publish, and supporting authors throughout the submission and revision stages. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading scholars, researchers, and professionals in the energy and economics sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and Evaluate Submissions: Conduct thorough and constructive peer reviews of manuscripts, assessing the quality, originality, and relevance of the content.
- Manage Editorial Workflow: Oversee the progression of manuscripts through the review process, from initial submission to final publication.
- Guide Authors: Provide guidance and feedback to authors on manuscript revisions, ensuring adherence to publication standards and ethical guidelines.
- Maintain High Editorial Standards: Ensure that all published works meet the highest academic and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with the Editorial Team: Work alongside fellow editors, authors, reviewers, and the editorial board to enhance the quality and impact of our publications.
Qualifications
- A strong academic background in energy, economics, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience in academic editing or peer review.
- Familiarity with academic publishing standards, particularly in open access publishing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
