Whether you're submitting a monograph or a journal article, we aim to make the submission process clear, transparent, and efficient. Below, you’ll find detailed instructions for each type of publication, based on the APA 7th Edition and our systems, including books.ceesus.org (for monographs) and eett.us (for journal articles).

 

  1. Submitting Academic Monographs (Books)

For those submitting academic monographs (books), please follow the guidelines below. Our book publishing system, https://ceesus.org/index.php/, is designed to streamline the submission process and ensure that your manuscript meets our high academic standards.

Steps for Submitting a Monograph:

  1. Create an Account:

    • Ensure your manuscript follows the APA 7th Edition formatting guidelines. This includes:
      • Title Page
      • Abstract
      • Chapter organization
      • References and in-text citations
      • Consistent use of APA-style headings and subheadings
  3. Prepare Required Documents:
    • Manuscript: The full manuscript in Word or PDF format.
    • Abstract: A concise abstract summarizing the content of the monograph.
    • Author Information: A brief biography of each author, including academic affiliation and contact details.
    • Cover Letter: A cover letter explaining the significance of your work, its contribution to the field, and why you wish to publish with Center for Energy and Economics Studies' Book Publishing Division.
  4. Submission Process:
    • After logging into https://ceesus.org/index.php/, select the "Submit a New Monograph" option.
    • Upload the manuscript and all necessary documents.
    • Complete the required metadata fields (e.g., title, keywords, discipline).
  5. Peer Review:
    • Your manuscript will be evaluated through our peer review process. You will be notified about the status of your submission.
  6. Final Revisions:
    • If your monograph is accepted, you will be required to revise it based on reviewer feedback.
    • Once revisions are complete, submit the final version for publication.
  7. Publication:
    • After final approval, your monograph will be published and made available via our platform, and you will be informed of the official release date.

 

  1. Submitting Academic Journal Articles

For authors submitting journal articles, the process is handled through the Center for Energy and Economics Studies' Journal Publishing Division. The submission platform for journal articles is eett.us.

Steps for Submitting a Journal Article:

  1. Create an Account:
    • Visit eett.us and create an account. If you already have one, simply log in.
  2. Manuscript Preparation:
    • Follow the APA 7th Edition formatting guidelines, which include:
      • A concise title page with the article title, author(s), and contact details.
      • A structured abstract (150-250 words) summarizing the article.
      • Keywords: Include 3-5 keywords for indexing purposes.
      • Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion: Ensure these sections are well-defined, with appropriate use of APA headings and subheadings.
      • References: List all sources cited in the text using proper APA referencing style.
  3. Prepare Required Documents:
    • Manuscript: The full article in Word or PDF format.
    • Abstract: A concise summary of the article’s main points.
    • Cover Letter: A brief letter explaining the purpose and importance of your article and why it’s a good fit for the journal.
  4. Submission Process:
    • After logging into eett.us, click "Submit a New Article."
    • Upload your manuscript and all necessary documents.
    • Fill out the metadata fields (e.g., title, authors, keywords, abstract).
  5. Peer Review:
    • Upon submission, your article will undergo our rigorous peer review process. Reviewers will evaluate the quality, originality, and relevance of your work.
  6. Final Revisions:
    • If your article is accepted, you will be asked to revise it based on the reviewer comments.
    • After addressing all comments, resubmit your revised manuscript for final approval.
  7. Publication:
    • After approval, your article will be published in the journal, available online, and indexed as part of our open-access platform.

 

General Submission Notes for Both Monographs and Journal Articles:

  • File Formats: We accept submissions in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or PDF formats. All figures and tables should be embedded within the manuscript file.
  • Copyright and Licensing: All works submitted for publication will be subject to our Copyright and Licensing Policy. As part of the submission process, authors are required to indicate their preferred licensing option, with CC BY 4.0 as the default.
  • Peer Review: Both monographs and journal articles undergo a peer review process to ensure academic rigor and quality. Be prepared for constructive feedback and revisions.
  • No Fees: Submissions are free of charge. We are committed to supporting authors by ensuring accessibility and transparency throughout the process.
