Whether you're submitting an academic monograph (book) or a journal article, adhering to the following guidelines is essential for a smooth submission and review process.

 

  1. Manuscript Preparation for Academic Monographs (Books)

When preparing a monograph for submission, please ensure that your manuscript follows the specific formatting and style requirements outlined below. Submissions that adhere to these guidelines will be processed more efficiently.

General Formatting:

  1. Document Format:
    • Submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or PDF format.
    • The font should be Times New Roman, size 12pt.
    • Line spacing should be set to 1.5 lines throughout the manuscript, including references.
    • Margins should be set to 1 inch on all sides.
  2. Title Page:
    • Title of the monograph (centered, bold).
    • Full names of the authors and their academic affiliations (centered).
    • Corresponding author’s contact information (email address, phone number).
    • Word count (approximately).
  3. Abstract:
    • Provide a brief abstract of the monograph (150-250 words), summarizing the main themes and contributions of the work.
    • Include keywords (3-5 words or phrases).
  4. Headings and Subheadings:
    • Use APA-style headings and subheadings for organization.
    • Level 1 Headings (e.g., Chapter Titles): Bold, centered, title case.
    • Level 2 Headings: Bold, flush left, title case.
    • Level 3 Headings: Italicized, flush left, sentence case.
    • Ensure each chapter starts on a new page.
