FAQs

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions That May Help You Throughout the Submission Process

We understand that the submission process can be complex, and you may have questions along the way. This section provides answers to some of the most common questions that authors often ask. If you have additional queries, feel free to contact us at support@ceesus.org.

  1. How do I submit my manuscript?

To submit your manuscript, please follow these steps:

  • For academic books, visit our book submission system at https://ceesus.org/index.php/books and create an account. After logging in, you can upload your manuscript, along with any additional required documents.
  • For journal articles, submit your manuscript through our journal submission system at eett.us, where you can track the progress of your submission and communicate with the editorial team.

  1. What formats are acceptable for submission?

We accept submissions in the following formats:

  • Text: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) is preferred.
  • Figures/Images: High-quality images in .jpg, .png, or .tiff formats.
  • Please refer to the Manuscript Preparation Guidelines for detailed formatting requirements for both books and journal articles.

  1. What happens after I submit my manuscript?

Once you submit your manuscript:

  • It will undergo an initial screening by the editorial team to ensure it meets the basic submission requirements.
  • If your manuscript passes the initial screening, it will proceed to the peer review process. After review, you will receive feedback from reviewers.
  • You will then be given the opportunity to make revisions based on reviewer comments. Once your manuscript is finalized, it will be published according to the publication schedule.

  1. What is the peer review process?

For both academic books and journal articles, we use a double-blind peer review process. This means that both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation process. Reviewers assess the manuscript for its quality, originality, and relevance to the field. You will receive detailed feedback, which you may use to revise your manuscript.

  1. How long does the review process take?

The peer review process generally takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the manuscript and the availability of reviewers. We strive to provide feedback as quickly as possible while ensuring a thorough and fair review.

  1. Can I submit my manuscript to multiple publishers at the same time?

We request that manuscripts be submitted exclusively to Center for Energy and Economics Studies while under review. Simultaneous submissions can lead to complications in the review process and may result in the manuscript being withdrawn from consideration.

  1. What should I do if I want to revise my manuscript after submission?

If you receive feedback from the reviewers and are asked to make revisions:

  • You will be provided with clear instructions on the necessary changes.
  • Once revisions are made, submit the revised manuscript through the same submission system.
  • Be sure to highlight the changes made in response to the reviewers' comments.

  1. What is the publication fee?

We do not charge any submission fees. However, if you choose to publish your work as open access, there may be an article processing charge (APC) associated with that. Please refer to the Open Access Policy for detailed information on charges and funding options.

  1. Can I withdraw my manuscript after submission?

Yes, you may withdraw your manuscript at any point before it is formally accepted for publication. To do so, please notify the editorial team via email at editorm.johnson@gmail.com.

  1. What copyright options do I have for my work?

All published works are under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, which allows your work to be freely shared, distributed, and reused with proper attribution. For more details, see our Copyright and Licensing section.

  1. What if my manuscript is rejected?

If your manuscript is rejected, you will receive feedback from the reviewers explaining the reasons for the decision. You may use this feedback to improve your work for submission elsewhere, or you may revise and resubmit it to our platform if appropriate.

  1. How can I stay updated on my manuscript status?

You can track the status of your manuscript through our submission platforms:
